Atoussa

ECE Teacher

Bashful Class

Atoussa has been teaching since 1988. She has a BA in French Literature and minor in Early Childhood Education. She has been lucky enough to visit Reggio Emilia in Italy and was inspired to apply many aspects of this approach to her pedagogy.

Atoussa believes children have potential, curiosity, and a desire to learn. Each child is unique and has a different approach to learning. As a teacher my role is to provide the children with a range of possibilities and provocations. The wider the range of possibilities, the richer the children’s experiences.

Sanaz

ECE Teacher

Bashful Class

Sanaz has been working in the Early Childhood Education field for the past 10 years and finds it deeply meaningful to support children as they learn to express themselves and grow in confidence. She brings a calm, steady presence to the classroom and values creating an environment where children feel safe, seen, and encouraged to explore.

Sanaz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and an ECE certificate. Outside of work, she loves painting, singing in choir, caring for plants, and finding joy in the little things. She enjoys bringing that same calm and positive energy into her work with children each day.

Daniella

ECE Teacher

Sundance Class

Daniella is creative and vocal and loves to bring this to her practice in preschool. She has a BA in Early Childhood Education and more than 10 years of experience working with children in daycare and preschool in both Mexico and North Vancouver.

She believes that when children feel safe, they are ready to learn and explore. She enjoys that children often notice the details of things, and are open to experiencing the small, every-day wonders of the world. She is an active Mom in our community in Pemberton Heights, always busy looking for ways she can support our school and other people. She enjoys going on adventures with her husband and two children.
